Halloween 2013

My sweet girl was Mary Poppins for Halloween this year.  She LOVED it! Every year she gets more and more excited about holidays.  She had a blast dressing up and running from house to house to trick-or-treat. 

 I need to invest in an actual camera, my camera phone just doesn't do the cute-ness justice!

 We went to the library for a special halloween party..

 She became best buds with this jack-o-lantern! When it came time to throw it away she had a rough time!:)

Elsie is so much fun.  She copies everything we say.  Every morning when she wakes up she asks, "where are we going?" ha she is not satisfied with staying home!  She loves making friends and no matter where we are she walks up to kids of any age and says, "what's your name? I'm Elsie and I'm 2."  That is usually followed by weird looks from the kids and then sometimes they walk off! It kind of breaks my heart but it kind of makes me laugh too.  She just thinks everyone is her friend and I think that's great.  

These are some of my favorite things that she says now a days:

Mary had a little...man. (I've tried to correct her, it's sticking)

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

lemonade=lemonlade

piano=paneo

hand sanitzer= hanitizer

penquin=pwanguin

And one day the following conversation happened, and I wrote it down because seriously I could not believe these words came out of her mouth.

Elsie: "My heart is filled with love when you say thank you and help me fold the laundry."

Me: "I love you so much Elsie.

Elsie: "I love you too mom."

Is she 20 years old already? Slow down baby.
