Most Random Post Ever

Everyone thinks (myself included!) that Elsie is Derrik's mini me.  But, I think when I was Elsie's age, there was some resemblance!!:) 

 Derrik likes to torture me by driving up big mountains and then getting out and then posing with my baby on the side of this mountain.  I'm getting better at not freaking out about it.  This is the Beartooth Pass in Montana.  It's super high and super beautiful.

 The pictures got a little out of order.  This was a bbq with our good friends when we visited Montana.  We all noticed our kids were sitting in "couples" uh-oh! Looks like we're already in trouble!:)

 Umm, can you see why I would freak out a little?  They were trying to bribe a squirrel to come up and over the edge.

 Our little family of three went on a camping trip to Palisades in Idaho. It was so much fun!! Can't resist a picture of those toddler buns in a swimming suit! Nothing better! Derrik looks smokin' too:)

 While camping we took a little side trip to Jackson.  We're pretty much world travelers.. Montana, Idaho, Wyoming:)

 When we got back to Pocatello, there was literally a flash flood! This is the street we live on! It was crazy!! We got more rain that day than the whole rest of the year combined! Thankfully we had no damage but a lot of other family and friends did:(

 Derrik is in his second semester at ISU getting an MBA.  This is his first day of school picture! Elsie gets a couple of chances with being dressed, but after about three outfit changes due to spills, accidents, etc., I'm done, and she gets to be naked til bedtime!:)

 I ran a 10K at the end of August.  My goal was to do it in an hour and I finish at 55:16.  I got 3rd place in my age group! It was a lot of fun.

 My sister-in-law, Heather, ran the half marathon and her and her friend got 2nd and 3rd in their age group!  They are super speedy.

 Eastern Idaho State Fair.... boo yeah.  Elsie loved the merry-go-round.  We had some good food and pet lots of nasty animals:)

 Derrik's mom (Nana) gave Elsie her first haircut! I know most kids by now have had hair cuts but Elsie just doesn't have that much! It was turning into a mullet though so we had to bite the bullet.  It is so cute and curly now!!!

 Spud Days in Shelley Idaho!  We went with a group of our old friends from college which was so fun!  Elsie got a ton of candy, and she loved the mascot... dressed as a potato of course!! Oh how we just love Idaho!!:)
