8 Months!

It is becoming harder and harder to get Elsie to sit still for a picture... if you can't tell:) This was about the only one that I got with her little '8' sign that she wasn't screaming, crawling away, or trying to eat the sign! She is however chewing a puff that I bribed her with.

Total cheeser!! Ha do you love her posing skills? It looks like she is posing for some body building...

Elsie has discovered the stairs. She thinks she wants to climb them but all she can do is pull herself up to stand. She gets a kick out of it!

Still just crawling with that belly hangin' low! She is a quick one though.

Other 8 month facts about Elsie:

We like to play a laughing game. I close my eyes and do a blank face and then start laughing really hard and Elsie goes crazy. She laughs and when I stop she stops mid laugh, it's so funny.

She likes to stand on the pew at church and face the people behind us and she giggles over and over at whoever is cooing over her. I secretly delight in the old ladies that sit behind me in Relief Society and say how cute she is:) What mom wouldn't?

Elsie is a screamer. She doesn't cry very much, she just likes to hear her voice. Her favorite time to scream is at dinner. I think she likes to be the center of attention. It is kind of like a growl more than a scream.

She does yoga! Favorite pose... downward dog. She seriously does it all-the-time! ha ha!

When she is tired she rubs her eyes and starts blowing spit bubbles. She also grabs her ear and the hair by her ear when I rock her to sleep or when she is eating. Sounds silly, but I never want to forget any of those little things!

Nick Names: Elsie girl, Baby Elsie, beebelsie (Nolan:) , bubbies, bubba, stinker,stinky buggies, Else, "Oh Elsie Girl"-in low voice mimicking the way Lydia says it :) ha ha

ok enough of that obnoxious list. We love you Elsie! Can't believe you have been here 8 months already! Can't believe I lived 22 years without you!!
