The center of town... We had fun just walking around the town going in and out of the fun shops. A lot of the places were "closed for April" so we didn't get to do some of the things we wanted to, but we saw a lot of animals, and went out to eat and just had fun being on vacation!
On this day, Derrik got his first hair cut EVER in a salon! Big step. I don't think he was too excited about me documenting this big day so I kind of had to catch him off guard to get his hair do:) I thought it looked really good. All growing up his mom cut his hair, on his mission his companions, in college his roommates, now he is married and I wont do it. Awesome wife huh?
We are so happy the weather is finally warming up! We are hoping we have seen the last snow. We love going on walks and playing basketball outside! We also can't wait to do some camping this summer!
Right now Derrik has just started a new semester at BYU-I. He is also working at Five County Detention Center a few days a week. He is working hard at both work and school and doing well! I am teaching 7th and 8th grade Literature and learning a lot! I will finish out the year but hopefully next year will be more in the 1st-5th grade age group:)
Your haircut looks cute Derrik. Hopefully Kasee and I can join you guys for some camping trips this summer.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Nice job with the roses, and the hair looks sharp Derrik:) I cut Chase's hair 1 time and then never did it again after it took me FOREVER!! He too pays for his cuts:) Your trip to Jackson Hole sounded so fun, we went there for part of our honey moon and have never been back, but I remembered all those antlers:) Glad you guys are doing good, we love ya and miss ya!!
