The Big Move

For all of you who live far away, but just WISH you had the opportunity to see our apartment, here is your chance... I'm giving you a virtual tour! Literally, of every nook and cranny. So here we go.... This is the outside. I love the yellowness, it is very cheery! And my momma got us that wreath, the picture doesn't do it justice, it is adorable, thanks mom! I told you... EVERY nook and cranny:) So here is where you just entered! Interesting note.. when you walk in there is a light switch. That's normal right? The abnormal thing about it is instead of turning on a light, it turns off the T.V. If you don't believe me, you will just have to come visit and try it yourself!

Here you have it, our living room... nothing too special here! Although, due to the bigger size, we don't have our kitchen table crammed in with our couch and T.V. anymore. YES!

My favorite part... this kitchen is beautiful. You would know how I felt if you came from an apartment that had ( and I quote from miss Jennifer Brown who spent the night once) a "Kitchenet" HA! I thought that was funny, like the ones that you might find in a hotel, very small. We now have more counter/cabinet space, and a dishwasher! Also, a place to put our kitchen table!! Wahoo!

You might have noticed cute Derrik studying in the kitchen in the last picture, why you ask would he be studying in the kitchen?? Yes that is because we have a computer desk, in the kitchen!! Can you tell yet that I'm excited about this new apartment?

Just because I knew you would want to see the bathroom...... can't leave out any details:)

Our bedroom! It is exactly one foot bigger than our other bedroom, and it has closet doors. AWESOME.

Oh, I love this part too, we have a tiny little deck, and that door right there is a storage closet. We love having that because somehow in eight months we have quadrupled that amount of stuff that we have. And a lot of it is worthy of a storage closet!!

This is an attempt at taking a picture of Derrik making homemade icecream..... now that we have more room, we have been able to whip out some of our wedding presents, like the ice cream maker!! WAhoo! Go Derrik, it is really good ice cream. I'm actually eating some as I blog:)

And this is me. I cut my hair. I'm still tryin to figure out how to do it like the girl who did it at the salon. By the time I figure that out, It will probably be grown out!!

There you have it!!! Us and our apartment. Update on our lives: I have just finished my student teaching!!! I am subbing for now and Derrik starts a new semester after Christmas. We are going home to Montana for Christmas and we CAN'T wait!!
